Join the 2,500+ players in the Upstate area playing Pickleball
Perhaps your friends play Pickleball. Maybe you’re a tennis or racquetball player looking for a new challenge. If you have a fun-loving attitude and an ounce of athletic ability, then Pickleball is the sport you need to start playing.
In the INTRO TO PICKLEBALL 2-hour Beginner Clinic, you’ll learn how to effectively hit the ball, maintain a rally, keep score, the rules and basic game play. At the end of this clinic, players will have the foundational knowledge and skills to start playing Pickleball.
The PICKLEBALL FUNDAMENTALS Clinic is for players new to the game and want to build upon their foundational knowledge and skills. We’ll take you through a variety of drills to improve all the shots you need to become a more skillful player. We’ll also improve your court positioning and teach you how to outsmart your opponents.
The ADVANCED FUNDAMENTALS Clinic teaches you to be a more strategic player. You’ll gain a greater ability to force your opponents to make a mistake by learning how to hit un-attackable shots and by developing a third shot drop. You’ll also improve your soft game at the “winner’s line” and learn how to effectively use the block volley. Plus, we will teach you advanced doubles play strategies while giving you constructive in-game coaching advice.
Intermediate Clinics are also available. The PLAY WITH COACHING session gives you in-game coaching on how to minimize mistakes to maximize your ability to win points. The SKILLS & DRILLS session is a series of specific drills designed to make you a smarter, more skillful, and sought-after doubles partner.
Paddles and balls will be provided and participation is capped at 12 players for each clinic so that everyone will receive individualized coaching time. $45 per person. (Both the Play with Coaching and Skills & Drills sessions are $50 per player.)
